No one who cooks, cooks alone. Even at their most solitary, a cook in the kitchen is surrounded by generations of cooks past, the advice and menus of cooks present, the wisdom of cookbook writers.” ― Laurie Colwin

What's that decadent scent wafting through the air? Whatever it is it must be coming from the kitchen. It's a part of the mansion that's hardly ever seen by the Noble's but without it the estate would perhaps literally tumble to the ground.
The head chef rules with an iron fist here, doing his/her best to produce dishes fit for a king that would make even those with the most delicate and sophisticated of pallets nearly swoon.

So, heres Fran, walking around, in the kitchen, like the woman he is. After having a wonderful chat with the new employer, or possible new employer. And it had gotten late out and Owen was showing them to a room they could stay in for the night. Fran snuck away, saying he had to 'use the loo', but then started snooping around in his possible new work area. It was a wonderful kitchen indeed. Very big. There was a tall shelf that ran around the whole of the room, and all the corners were rounded and there was a rolling ladder attached. There were a lot of shelves around the walls with verious different types of dish wear. And there was a little cut out section in the corner where the washroom was.

Fran walked around the table in the middle of the kitchen and looked at the various foods and herbs that sat around. Fran pouted, he really hoped he could get this job, he loved this kitchen.
